Mastermedia International was founded in 1985.  It has grown into an international organization that facilitates relationships between media leaders & the Christian community at large.  Its purpose is to be a positive and even redemptive influence in entertainment by touching the lives of media gate keepers and mobilizing a global prayer effort for them.

Dr. David Christian Andersen, President, East Coast has served as a Presbyterian Minister in West Orange, New Jersey, Essex Fells, New Jersey, and the Boston area. He holds a Master of Divinity degree and a doctoral degree from Trinity Seminary. Prior to his ministry, he co-founded a successful design and engineering company in Chicago, Illinois.

Our job in Italy will be to EVANGELIZE the lost, EQUIP the believers, and ESTABLISH the church.  When we first get to Italy, both of us (David and Emily) will need to attend Italian language school for  about one year each.   The school “University for Foreigners” is in the city of Perugia, right in the center of Italy.  It operates in 3-month courses (approximately four courses totaling the needed year training).  Having young children, this will be ideal for us.  The plan now is to alternate enrollment between the two of us, so that one of us will always either be in school or at home with our children.   This means that it will take about two years total for both of us to finish language school.

Their prayer is that God will raise up many laborers for the harvest from the northeast.

The purpose of Pioneers is to go out & reach the people who have not heard about Jesus.  They send out a team of 2 or more people to spread the gospel.  For more than 35 years, Pioneers passion has been to see God glorified among those who are physically and spiritually isolated from the gospel of Jesus Christ – from Muslim Bedouins in the deserts of North America and animist villagers in the jungles of South America, to secular humanists in Eastern Europe and middle-class Buddhist urbanites in the sprawling cities of East Asia.
