Members

Welcome to Grace Community Evangelical Church, a church in Madison CT with members from towns that include but are not limited to Branford, Guilford, Clinton, Haddam-Killingworth, and Durham.

As members of the church, we welcome you to worship with us at our Sunday Service. All are welcome. We are not perfect people. We are not better people. Rather, we are simply the local chapter of “Sinners Anonymous.” We are broken people, like everyone else, but we have the hope of our forgiveness and redemption in Jesus Christ, and we want you to share our hope. In the Scriptures, it says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Our God is a God who saves, and He is making us new.

For more information, including a detailed directory, nursery scheduling, a directory of former church friends, and applications for membership, simply click on their corresponding sections in the pull-down under “Members” at the top of the page.

Official Membership

If after attending Grace Community Church for a long enough period of time to fully understand its mission statement and doctrinal views, I want to become an official member, what do I do?

After you have displayed dependability and a desire to become an official long-term member of the church body, these are the steps generally required for official membership:

  • Request a GCC membership application form
  • Fill it out
  • Meet with 1 or more elders to discuss your application
  •  Allow the Congregation to vote
  • Attend an official church membership meeting
